Team Lead Job Profile

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) is a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments. We are currently recruiting for Team Lead, to work at our Ballycoolin location. 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, allocate and manage resources using standard work principles, ensuring short term and long-term targets are met on time. 
  • Ensure a high level of attention to detail and adherence to procedure for all Warehouse activities.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Provide excellent written and verbal communications to direct management and to senior stakeholders across the organization.
  • Regular communication and planning with the Supervisor.
  • Operate as a back-up for the Supervisor when required.
  • Support other team members and escalate issues as needed.
  • Liaising with internal and external teams and building good relationships. 
  • Liaising with Logistics companies for inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Coordinate all dispatch and inbound activities to ensure that they are actioned in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the Assembly Work activities ensuring Quality of work in a timely manner.
  • Ensure good stock management practices and coordination of regular cycle counts.
  • Assist in new hire training based off company on-boarding and training programmes.
  • Support the investigation of discrepancies through the Activities reporting system.
  • Assist in identifying and driving efficiencies within the Warehouse.
  • Ensure compliance with good health & safety and housekeeping practices.
  • Highlight any ordering requirements – stationary and all packaging required for the Warehouse.

Skills & Experience

  • People leadership experience coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to use own initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Accuracy, strong attention to detail and results driven.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office and SAP.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Previous experience in problem solving & decision-making techniques.
  • Flexible to take on additional duties as required.
