Inventory Specialist (Part-Time)

Job Summary:
This role is for 2-days per week support on a busy customer site. We are looking for a capable Inventory Specialist to work closely with management and cross functional teams within the organization to help with goods in/out activities, management of critical stock items, provision of on-site services, and product distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Goods Receiving to include checking, counting, and put-away of stock.
- Picking and packing customer orders to agreed timeframes and order turnaround times.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and follow all safety, quality, and operational protocols.
- Work with a computerized WMS and other systems.
- Proactive approach to identify both problems and solutions.
- Careful and responsible use of company vehicles and equipment.
- Support with delivery of products to and around local customer sites.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as required to support our customers.
- Perform regular stock checks and cycle counting of products in warehouse with pro-active approach to maintaining stock accuracy
Required Skills & Experience
- Flexible, reliable, hardworking with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willing to use own initiative and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to identify customer needs and passionate about providing a high level of customer service.
- Strong technical ability and computer skills (including Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.).
- Prior warehouse experience and background in spare parts management desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Problem solving aptitude.
- Full driver’s license required.
- Forklift license and prior experience highly desirable.
- Prior experience using stock control systems (ERP/WMS) with prior use of SAP an advantage.
